Antibiotics 

Antibiotics is the strong and powerful tablet that almost everyone has taken ever in his or her life while fighting against infection. This is the medicine which is used to treat bacterial infection caused by different type of bacteria. It does not treat viral infection disease like cold, flu and cough etc. Every Antibiotic tablet is used to treat a particular type of bacteria so do not take any antibiotic without the doctor’s consultation. There are many types of antibiotics are available in the market made by various pharmaceuticals. Here is the list of some of the common antibiotics with their purpose:

  1. Azithromycin: To treat throat infection caused by bacteria.
  2. Amoxicillin: To treat tonsillitis, bronchitis and pneumonia.
  3. Cephalexin: To treat gram positive and gram negative bacteria by disrupting the growth of bacterial cell wall.
  4. Doxycyclin: To treat acne, urine tract infections, eye infections, gonorrhea, gum disease etc.
  5. Metronidazole: To treat inflammation.
  6. Ciprofloxacin: To treat bones infection, joint infection, skin infection, typhoid fever etc.
  7. Levofloxacin: To treat pneumonia, urinary tract infections, gastric problems etc.
